Description

The former doorman Dave starts his new job as a museum guard. He is supposed to watch over a piece in a separated room. The picture shows a depiction of Jesus on the cross. Only upon closer inspection does he realize why it could cause massive offense. The piece offers a clever and loving insight into the art scene – and is also a plea for the freedom of art. Giuseppe Spina trained for a year for the role of Dave to do justice to the appearance of the doorman described in the text.
The audience sits all around Dave, in a gym, and accompanies him during his sweaty training routine on the equipment.
