The Schohl nature reserve is a habitat for many exciting and protected amphibian and reptile species. Threatened species such as the crested newt, the pond newt, or the yellow-bellied toad find important refuges here. During the deployment, you will gain interesting insights and valuable information about these animal species as well as about the moor area itself. The conservation effort is organized by BirdLife Sarganserland and offers, besides meaningful nature conservation work, a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and engage together for nature!

General Information

The moor deployment in the Schohl nature reserve in Sargans is organized by BirdLife Sarganserland. Volunteer helpers are invited to actively participate in protecting amphibians and reptiles and to learn more about these species as well as the moor area.
