Description

"In the silence, you will hear yourself." In a time of constant acceleration, this project invites you to pause and perceive nature anew. Originating from observations in various countries and continents, it gathers cinematic snapshots of earth, water, and air.
The recordings made with smartphones are deliberately chosen perspectives and excerpts of nature that focus not on perfection, but on perception and presence. They direct attention to the essentials: small signs, structures, and "Wegweiser der Natur" (signposts of nature) that encourage discovery and reflection. Art and nature engage in a silent dialogue. The installations in the rooms of the Gasometer inspire relaxation and remind us how to become more conscious of ourselves and the beautiful moments of nature in everyday life. Vernissage
