NAPA (PT) PORTUGUESE LYRICS & MELANCHOLIC SPIRIT The sound of NAPA developed somewhere between the energy of Arctic Monkeys and Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as the melody of The Beatles. Unexpectedly, YouTube helped their songs reach a wider audience and thrilled fans in Portugal and beyond. They swapped English for their native language and their grandmother's basement for a recording studio. 2025 marks NAPA's rise to one of the most promising acts in the Portuguese music scene. With their hit "Deslocado," they performed at the Festival da Canção, a song that already amassed millions of streams before the competition. They emerged as winners and represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The track has now achieved 4x Platinum in Portugal and Gold in Brazil and was nominated for "Best Song" at the Golden Globes by SIC. The release of their third studio album is imminent.
