Tsubbu’s music thrives on sophisticated rhythms, virtuosic guitar playing, and captivating improvisation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar from the University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), but found his calling in music production. Today, he is one of the most renowned producers in Brazil’s religious music segment. He has worked with labels like Universal Music, Sony, and Somlivre, and with notable artists such as Gabriela Rocha, Paula Fernandes, Sandy, and Zé Neto e Cristiano. His work has been recognized with three Grammy nominations and several festival awards. As a solo artist, André is known for his virtuosic fingerstyle technique. His instrumental album has over 8 million YouTube views. His interpretations of “Oceans,” “Hallelujah,” and most recently “Agnus Dei” have also received international acclaim.
