Alexandre Faure, Matteo de Luca, Vincent Métrailler, Andrea Bandini trombone Ross Knight tuba Brass Quintet in Freedom Transcriptions by Leonard Bernstein, Dmitri Shostakovich, Øystein Baadsvik, Giuseppe Verdi, John Williams… Conceived by the musicians of the OSR, this Chamber Music series invites you to discover the artists in small ensemble that make up the Orchestra. Be surprised by treasures from the repertoire or unexpected discoveries in the intimate setting of the Geneva Conservatory of Music every Sunday at 11 am. From Bernstein's flair to Verdi's melodies, from Shostakovich's incisive rhythms to John Williams' film music, passing through the virtuosity of Øystein Baadsvik, the OSR brass propose a free quintet formation for this last concert of the season.
