At the New Year's Eve concert 2025, the Freiburger Barockorchester surprised with an unusual sound: after just a few bars, an exciting 'band feeling' developed, and the ensemble transformed into a sonically fascinating big band – on baroque instruments. This energetic side of the FBO is now the focus of a new program at Freiburg's Münsterplatz. With music from different genres, sophisticated arrangements, and palpable joy of playing, the evening promises top entertainment, a good atmosphere, and guaranteed real summer feelings under the open sky.
