Dorothea and Christof Gerlitz are in their late 50s when they set out from Freiburg on an extraordinary journey. Their path takes them very slowly from Sweden to Norway and beyond the Arctic Circle. They don't want to just be tourists and therefore keep finding work along the way. In exchange for board and lodging. What initially costs some overcoming soon becomes a welcome challenge. Every place is different, the tasks are diverse and unusual, the people are special. Landscapes and nature are already magnificent. With each job, new insights open up, perspectives change.
