For 25 years, Gregor Müller (piano), Herbert Kramis (double bass), and Pius Baschnagel (drums) have been playing together with unchanged line-up. From their long-standing collaboration, a close friendship has developed – and a musical dialogue that continues to thrive on openness, trust, and the joy of discovery. The trio's music consists almost exclusively of original compositions. The fact that all three musicians compose significantly shapes their sound. The pieces bear different signatures – lyrical jazz encounters classical sounds, Latin American influences, odd meters, grooving passages, and atmospheric ballads. The differences remain audible and grow into a shared language through their interplay. Composition and improvisation are in constant exchange. The music develops in the moment, living from attentive listening and the willingness to share ideas, pick them up, and think forward together. Thus, each concert evening remains open to new paths. Four album recordings – most recently Mirror, before Oleaje – trace the path of the trio. However, their true home remains the stage: from familiar compositions, new musical stories are continually created. The 25th anniversary is primarily a celebration of a band that has preserved its curiosity, joy of playing, and willingness to take musical risks.
