Description

The widowed American professor Matthew Morgan lives in seclusion in Paris. Since the death of his wife, he has withdrawn from life. When he meets young Pauline on the bus and she offers him her help, his daily routine begins to change slowly. Her joy of life and optimism lead him to allow closeness and trust again. Together, the two explore Paris, spend time together, and discover the small joys of life. From their unusual encounter, a special friendship develops, which also changes Matthews relationship with his family.
