In this series of classes, parents will learn about the most important motor development milestones for their babies and receive practical tips from an experienced pediatric physical therapist on how to encourage movement through play. September 21
Baby Handling and Positioning: On the first day of the course, you’ll discover in a playful way which positions are best for your baby and how you can adjust them at home using simple tricks. You’ll also receive heartfelt guidance on holding and carrying your newborn in your arms. October 12
Movement Transitions and Carrying Options: Together, we’ll explore how to encourage your baby to discover their own body and movement, and what the next developmental steps are. We’ll also discuss what to keep in mind when carrying your baby in a baby carrier. November 2
From Lying Down to Sitting Up: Through play, we’ll explore and practice together how your baby can learn to sit up on their own, step by step. November 30
