Description
move & groove - training
juggling
every Thursday, 9-10 am
Course for: Seniors
Trainer: Martin Henzi
Live piano: Kurt Scheurer
Manipulating objects requires dexterity in the hands. As humans are more than just the sum of their parts, juggling promotes more than just hand dexterity; it also enhances rhythm, balance, and stamina. It is also fun and offers endless combinations. We incorporate many physical exercises to warm up and loosen up. Health insurance companies recommend juggling as brain training.
We practice with juggling balls as our basic material, and other objects such as contact balls, clubs, rings, diabolos, plates, etc., are added as needed.
In short: juggling is perfect for anyone who wants to learn something new and stay fit.
"Training the body and its functions in such a way that it becomes a tuned instrument for everything we do can change our entire daily life ..." Dore Jacobs.
