Murder on the Regional Express - Resumption

Description

The only place where you can still converse with other travelers today is the Regional Express. There are plenty of topics: punctuality issues, locked toilets, corpses in the basement. The RambaZamba ensemble forms a special commission and searches for Peter in the zoo, one of the most famous artworks of the GDR, on the train. Many remember this image, whose reproductions decorated kindergartens and schools of the GDR. Additionally, a corpse is found. But that does not necessarily mean the cause of death is murder. In the case of the picture, however, it cannot be said to be murder or suicide, because Peter in the zoo is a work of art, inanimate matter – oil in mixed media on canvas, 66 x 46 cm. In this context, one can at most speak of an accident. But even that seems inappropriate, given that Peter was the son of the artist Harald Hakenbeck, who, with Peter in the zoo, tried to confront viewers with questions about human existence. We have a long journey ahead of us... The well-known actor and director Milan Peschel, together with the actors of the RambaZamba Theater, will illustrate the absurdity of everyday life and the post-dramatic turning point with witty dialogues and weave contemporary questions about life.
