Description
A concert performance that repeatedly questions its own form: With philosophical pop songs, trivial jokes, and dirty glamour, Mor Dovrat moves through religious images, political beliefs, patriarchal fantasies, and the contradictory attempts to assert an identity. «HOLY SHIT!» devours convictions, promises of salvation, private desires, slogans, and shame, chews them up, mixes them, and returns them distorted. What seems to be expelled does not disappear. It returns transformed and nourishes the next certainty. Dovrat is not outside this cycle. What she sings about and mocks also speaks through her. Thus, the evening oscillates between omnipotence and powerlessness, the desire to intervene, and the impulse to withdraw. Hope becomes heavy, certainty fragile, the body tired. «HOLY SHIT!» offers no way out but remains in this tension: a dirty, funny, and vulnerable concert performance about the longing for change and the gravity of beliefs we carry with us.
