Description
A classic of world literature as a intoxicating spectacle. Captain Ahab compulsively pursues the urge to avenge the giant white whale that took his leg. The first person to sight Moby Dick receives a gold coin. The men who earn their living from whaling fall under the spell of the charismatic ship's captain and increasingly become part of Ahab's revenge madness. The production has been shown since 2013 in Hamburg in a cast of eight. The co-directors Antú Romero Nunes and Jörg Pohl adapt their groundbreaking collaboration specifically for pandemic conditions into a solo.
