Description
On two floors, the permanent exhibition shows the history of Judaism from Roman antiquity to the present day in Switzerland. The "Cult" chapter sheds light on the cohesion of the Jewish communities. In the "Culture" chapter, topics such as origin, self-determination and survival tell a unique and eventful story. The relationship with the non-Jewish environment was determined by the striving for equal rights, the development of urban communities, anti-Semitism and self-assertion.
