Description
Join us on an exciting journey through time: In the Obertorturm, you will experience how people once lived and worked.
Climb floor by floor up to the former apartment of the tower guard. There you will learn about the important tasks he had and how his family lived high up in the tower. Along the way, discover the impressive, nearly 500-year-old clockwork, which is still wound by hand every day.
A special experience is the visit to the dungeons, where exciting and tragic stories from the past took place. What did it feel like to be locked up there?
The Obertorturm makes history come alive for the whole family. Recommended for families with children from 4 years old. Prices: Adults CHF 20.00 / Children 6 to 16 years CHF 10.00 / Apprentices, students CHF 15.00 When presenting the family flyer, available on Family Day and at Aarau Info from around mid-September, the tour is free for 2 children aged 4 to 12 per paying adult.
