Can you help Chancellor Metternich find his way back in time? Embark on an adventurous journey through the castle park with your whole family, complete tasks, solve the puzzle, and discover the world of Prince Metternich in a different way. Chancellor Klemens Wenzel von Metternich has lost himself in time and needs your help! You will participate in a family game, following the trail of eight stops in the castle park. At the beginning, you will purchase a worksheet and then set off on your journey. At each of the 8 stops, a different task awaits you. Upon completion, you will receive a symbol to record on your worksheet. If you manage to collect all the symbols and correctly solve the puzzle, a reward awaits you at the end. You can submit your completed worksheet at the castle's ticket office, where you will receive a certificate and a small prize for successfully completing the tasks. Metternich's Journey Through Time is primarily aimed at families with children and offers a fun way to explore the castle park, history, and the world of aristocratic travel together. The Nobility on the Move event is part of the year-round theme by NPÚ: The Nobility on the Move, which in 2026 highlights how the nobility traveled in the past, where they went, and what experiences and items they brought back from their journeys.
