Description

On the 40th anniversary of Les Reines Prochaines, «Memory Foam» explores performative storytelling strategies and examines feminist, queer, and solidaristic perspectives with Friends. Who tells? Who keeps? Who forgets? From personal archives, body poems, and choral elements, a multi-voiced evening emerges between concert, installation, and theater – a warm resistance against stasis.
Between freezer, kiosk, and darkroom, stories are mosaic-like told, collected, shifted, and thawed. Performance, live music, choir, projections, objects, and bodies intertwine into a musical narration about the power of remembering as a political and poetic act. «Memory Foam» does not shimmer as a nostalgic look back but as living matter, as a collective practice between individual and community, care, subculture, and queer-feminist thought.
