We warmly invite parents with children to a children's ceremony (lasting about 15 minutes) and to another children's program. Adults interested are invited to the Ceremony of the Consecration of a Person (lasting about an hour). During the adult ceremony, a program for children will be provided in the children's group space of Pansofie. The Sunday ceremony for children is introduced with a short storytelling. The ceremonies and storytelling will be led by Pastor Stanislava Veselková, who regularly visits České Budějovice. At the end, we invite you to sit down for coffee, tea, and something sweet, where there will be space to talk about everything that interests you. The Christian Community – a movement for religious renewal is a small religious society, characterized by a relatively strong emphasis on liturgical life, but also by openness to different opinions. It was founded in 1922 and has been active in the Czech lands since 1925. The Christian Community is based on the belief that every person has their personal religious life, their personal spiritual practice, and that the church should primarily be a place where religiously living people can meet and deepen their spiritual endeavors together. The backbone of this activity in the Christian Community are religious ceremonies that aim to bring the divine reality closer to the believer, stimulate their religious life, and thus strengthen their personal efforts for self-transformation and moral stance in practical life. The basic ceremony held in the Christian Community is the Ceremony of the Consecration of a Person, which is structurally similar to a Catholic mass. Through regular worship services, a local religious community, a congregation, is formed. The České Budějovice congregation has found its permanent place in the center of Pansofie, where it is a welcome guest. Program:
10:00 - Ceremony of the Consecration of a Person (for adults)
11:15 - Storytelling and ceremony for children, followed by a surprise
12:15 - Gathering with refreshments, group conversation, questions, ending around 2 PM. Dates of other Ceremonies:
