Mariana Hlubiňáková (1989) is an illustrator, graphic designer, and writer. She studied Graphic Design at the Faculty of Art and Design at UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and completed a study stay in France. She participated in the Graphics of the Year exhibitions in 2013 and 2016 and received an award in the National Prize for Student Design competition. She has published three books with Labyrint – Shortcuts, Left Back, and A Little More. Her book Shortcuts placed in the National Prize for Student Design competition and was exhibited at the Biennale Brno. It also attracted the Korean and Chinese markets – the book is available in a Chinese version on Amazon. The books Left Back and A Little More made it into the Catalog of Best Books for Children. The author handles her books from A to Z – from text to illustrations to graphic design. The exhibition will primarily showcase the author's illustrations, but her free works will also be on display.
