Description

Marc Charrière has a passion: he wants to keep folklore alive by making it accessible to everyone. From this passion came the idea for this show, which puts the Schwyzerörgeli in the spotlight. Almost 130 years after its invention by two instrument makers in the canton of Schwyz (as the name suggests… amazing, isn’t it?), Marc Charrière tells you the story of this unique instrument, which is a symbol of folklore and Swiss culture. Premiere at Bilboquet!
Marc Charrière plays in several folk music ensembles (Les Bandits Folkloriques, Duo MCJJ, Les Welsches, etc.), with which he performs at dozens of concerts every year… And starting from January 31, 2027, you can also see (and hear) him in his new show…
