20 years of Powerbrass – and the party continues! For 20 years, Maddis'son Brass Band has performed on various stages across Germany, France, and Switzerland, including as support for LaBrassBanda. Their stage shows leave no shirt dry, no muscle cold, and no one alone on the dance floor. Driving basses, funky beats, and eastern melodies combined with singing and rap merge into a new sound that encourages movement, dancing, celebrating, and simply good mood. Bio: No matter the occasion, no matter the time and place, Maddis’son Brass Band gets everyone dancing, always and everywhere. With their powerbrass, no shirt stays dry, no muscle stays cold, and no one is alone on the dance floor. The mix of eastern saxophone melodies, funky Balkan rhythms, driving sousaphone bass, and the power of trumpet and trombone is well received by everyone and energizes tired legs. With lots of fun, the nine musicians have been rocking weddings, city festivals, festivals, and shopping streets for years, and the band is far from having enough. In 2008, nine ambitious young musicians came together in Freiburg i. Br.: eight wind players and one drummer. Their goal: nothing less than creating a new genre… Powerbrass!
