His plays are performed worldwide, and his novels are translated into twenty languages. Lukas Bärfuss is a member of the German Academy for Language and Literature and lives in Zurich. He has been awarded, among others, the Berlin Literature Prize, the Swiss Book Prize, and the Georg Büchner Prize.
