Founded rather accidentally in Zurich at the end of 2021, Fai Baba, Long Tall Jefferson, and Paul Märki (ex-Black Sea Dahu) never really intended to start a band. But when three musicians, who have already played hundreds of shows and released numerous albums, come together, songs are born. Quickly. Their sound moves between Zen-surf, slow pop, and psychedelic chamber music. Shimmering guitars, a narrating bass, and a drum set that thinks more in moods than in beats shape pieces that unfold like small film scenes — calm, atmospheric, and full of movement. Their album Kirschblütenboogie was created in a barn, far from time pressure and everyday life — a place that visibly influences the warm, decelerated character of their music. Löwenzahnhonig blend dreamy psychedelia with warm indie sounds and a quiet, reverberating melancholy. Their music feels like a fleeting thought that suddenly takes shape — open, playful, and always leaving room for the unexpected. This quality especially unfolds live: the band lets their pieces flow, stretch, and condense. Concerts are created that are both relaxed and captivating — between head cinema and gentle dance.
