"Making something cool out of musical tradition without ruining it," describes the native of Partenkirchen his ambitions between alphorn, electronic sound, and 14 self-played instruments, which are used interchangeably. Ear-catching, rhythmic sound experiments on a broad bass foundation. All of this is hard to pin down, too multifaceted, too soft, too wild, and too cheeky, he explores extensively and gladly in all available genres.
Marcel Engler, aka Loisach Marci, undoubtedly takes a very own and new musical path away from the record with his alpine art. For him, it is more than art; it is a way of life. A unique sound, in the truest, double, and best sense, UNHEARD.
In 2025, the long-awaited new album of Loisach Marci will finally be released. It will be available digitally, as a CD, and on vinyl.
