Description
Everything that underlies nature will change and is transient. The works of Livia Halbeisen capture these moments in a way that reflects how they were perceived by her at a specific moment.
The exhibition "Momentaufnahmen" features a selection of drawings from various cities and villages in Portugal and from Rome, Italy, based on the artist's personal observations and experiences. The exhibited works are composed entirely of vertical lines. This technique gradually developed through sketching. The works in this exhibition are accompanied by sketches, from which the finished drawings were subsequently created. The sketches, made in the moment, enable the realization of the works and support the visual storytelling of a story from different places. Visitors are invited to view a story that can never be experienced in exactly the same way again. Livia Halbeisen is a Liechtenstein-Austrian artist. Drawing and painting have been part of her life for a long time. As a self-taught artist, she developed her own style in recent years and currently works mostly with vertical lines. The common thread of her works is the capturing of moments. Many of her works arise from everyday and daily observations of moments and her surroundings.
