Description
Two friends face a hostile adult world where their bond becomes a mysterious force to confront fear and create the marvelous.
In the manner of a fairy tale, Joël Pommerat imagines the meeting of two young girls, ready to outsmart the laws of the real world and those of adults to preserve their friendship pact. Faced with what surpasses them, they invent their own rules. The supernatural then becomes a refuge, a way to confront realities sometimes inconceivable. Driven by hypnotic video images, the play unfolds a chiaroscuro universe that accompanies the journey of the young heroines. In a form that combines theater and novel — where events are told as they happen — Joël Pommerat invokes the fantastic to question love, friendship, and our need to connect with others.
