The Trees of the Botanical Garden

Oaks, firs, maples, but also tulip trees or sweet gums, the Botanical Garden of Geneva is home to nearly 750 trees representing more than 400 different species from around the world! Come learn to recognize and identify some of them. As part of the Green Workshops of the Botanical Garden of Geneva, on Wednesday afternoons, children are invited to share our passion for the plant and fungal world in a fun and educational way. Thematic investigations, sensory discoveries, botanical explorations, and many other activities are on the program. The living collections of the Botanical Garden are the setting for these workshops offered by the mediators, gardeners, and scientists of the Botanical Garden in collaboration with the volunteers of Uni3, University of Seniors of Geneva.
