Description

For Figaro and Susanna, it should be the happiest day of their lives: the day of their wedding. However, their employer, Count Almaviva, who is equally in love with Susanna, does everything to delay the marriage. A turbulent twenty-four hours begin, during which all the characters of this piece find themselves in confusing emotional states due to the power of Eros. Director Jan Philipp Gloger relocates Mozart's masterpiece to the present day and shows how a seemingly irresistible man gets caught in the trap of a code of conduct against abuse of power and sexual harassment.
