Description
Alex Jellici on Viola da Gamba and Matías Lanz on Harpsichord present an extraordinary program that intertwines old and new music, telling a story about a fictional bladder stone patient from Passy near Paris. The event includes a performance of works from the 18th century alongside modern pieces by Stephanie Haensler, Hans Eugen Frischknecht, and Peter Streiff. This concert also marks the official CD presentation of their album, recorded as a New Year's gift for the Zurich Central Library. The program features compositions by Forqueray, Marais, Couperin, Telemann, and contemporary works, creating a bridge between centuries of classical music.
