Le Beau Bernard

Description

For decades, the variety star Bernard has delighted audiences. Now he is retired... unfortunately without a significant pension. Stage artists often struggle in old age. But Bernard is not only handsome but also clever... or so he believes. And so he decides to become a thief - a jewel thief. If he's going to do it, he might as well go all in. A famous singer is to be relieved of her necklace. And everyone is supposed to help him and his former stage partner, the enchanting Cassandra, pull off the heist of the century. Fugsi - young and naive - completely clueless, Mrs. Schneebeli - has other plans, niece Florence... and her new boyfriend Lukas - who is (unknown to Bernard) a police officer.
