Line-up: Doors open at 20:00, concert Laura and Her Tigers - In!Ventura | 1986-2026 At the end of 1985, Karel Šůcha, inspired by William Saroyan's novel 'Tracy's Tiger', founded the rock band Laura and Her Tigers in the Neprakta club in Most. The girl's name Laura evokes tenderness and beauty, while tigers symbolize untamed wildness. Black glasses, white shirts, black ties, and black pants create the band's unmistakable image. "The band's concerts radiate waves of rock energy, where you can sense hints of thundering black rhythms, 'Latin' beats, and the white beat of the sixties. Everything springs from a positive view of the world, which quickly transfers to the audience in this stylistic mix." Hundreds of concerts in sold-out venues in the Czech Republic and Slovakia caught the attention of international promoters, and after the fall of the 'Iron Curtain', the tigers completely disappeared from the domestic scene, performing mainly on European stages such as Stuttgart, Munich, Paris, Lausanne, Kiel, Bremen, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Marseille, Valence, Toulouse, Nantes, Albi, Tarbes, Brussels, Lyon, Dijon, Antwerp, and Strasbourg. In the past, they also performed in ancient amphitheaters in Carthage, Monastir, and Hammamet, or at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. In 1993, the band received the Grand Prix Media RFI award from French media, and their concert at La Cigalle in Paris was broadcast live by the MCM channel. Currently, the 'tigers' have more than two and a half thousand concerts under their belt in rock clubs and festivals both at home and abroad. The band has prepared five major concert projects: Show of Tomáš Tracy, Ritual of the Central European from the end of the 20th century in French Agen, Ritual in Žižkov, Laura versus Křižík's Fountain, and Big Bang!. Alumni of the band - Ilona Csáková, Lenka Nová, Martin Pošta, Miloš Vacík, and Bohumil Vitásek will join the tiger ranks at special concerts dedicated to celebrating the 40th anniversary of this legendary band.
