12.10.2026 : Pascale Kramer
Born in 1961 in Geneva, Pascale Kramer lives in Paris. She is notably the author of The Unrelenting Brutality of Awakening (Schiller Prize, Rambert Prize, and Society of Literary Authors Novel Prize) published by Mercure de France in 2009. In January 2026, Les Vivants was reissued in paperback.
A training project in literary criticism within the Department of French at the University of Fribourg, The Year of the Swiss Book publishes reviews on contemporary Swiss literature, runs a blog during the Soleure Literary Days, and – since 2025 – organizes a series of meetings with the most important Swiss literary figures. Led by Thomas Hunkeler, Sophie Jaussi, and Matthieu Corpataux, The Year of the Swiss Book is now also available at the BCU.
09.11.2026 : Thierry Raboud
Poet, musician, and literary critic at La Liberté, Thierry Raboud has won numerous awards, is a member of several literary juries and programming committees. He is one of the major figures in Swiss literature. His first novel, A World in Liquidation, was published in March 2026. A training project in literary criticism within the Department of French at the University of Fribourg, The Year of the Swiss Book publishes reviews on contemporary Swiss literature, runs a blog during the Soleure Literary Days, and – since 2025 – organizes a series of meetings with the most important Swiss literary figures. 14.12.2026 : Elisa Shua Dusapin
Elisa Shua Dusapin grew up in the Swiss Jura. Her first novel, Winter in Sokcho, is a global success, translated into over 35 languages, adapted for theater and cinema. Each of her subsequent books has won multiple awards. Sauf la frontière (Zoé) is published in August 2026.
