Laetitia Colombani: I Am Not Crazy

Description

Theater Kalich
A unique comedy that is unforgettable. It is inspired by a true event that once made headlines around the world. It is truly funny how unbelievable circumstances can change our lives. Former accountant Bernard leads a calm, predictable life alone in his apartment, where nothing is left to chance and everything has its fixed place. And that suits him just fine. He values rules and numbers, having calculated everything from cookies to rolls of toilet paper. Bernard's uneventful daily life is only spiced up by occasional visits from his son and regular sessions with his therapist.
But then comes the fateful day that turns Bernard's peaceful household upside down. And his life will never be the same again. A comedy filled with humorous situations and dialogues that can truly surprise and simultaneously touch the heart. It confirms the well-known truth that the best stories are written by life itself…! Alena Mihulová and Radek Holub reunite on our stage 30 years after their exceptional acting encounter in the famous film by Karel Kachyňa, The Cow. Directed by Jana Kališová, also featuring Petr Buchta and Barbora Mošnová.
