According to Tinguely, we live in a "civilization of wheels." The relationship between man and machine and the resulting dependencies, which Tinguely deconstructed with delight, continue to characterize our current life. For the first time since the museum's founding, the growing collection of works by the artist will be extensively exhibited in the main hall. Visitors will be able to discover the poetic filigrees of the early works, the explosive actions and collaborations of the 1960s, and the musical, monumental, and dark late works in a varied tour that offers many opportunities for participation.
