Kurt Tucholsky, a social critic and womanizer, satirist and idealist, could handle words like no other. He also had an infallible sense for social developments. With almost clairvoyant sharpness, he saw Germany slipping into catastrophe and warned years before Hitler's rise to power of the impending dangers. With his texts and music of his era, we depict the image of a Berliner who plunged into political debates with the same passion as the hedonism of the Weimar Republic, and whose writings, even 100 years after their publication, have not lost their relevance.
