Konkolo Orchestra, founded in 2024 in Zurich, is a ten-member band inspired by West African Afrobeat traditions, infused with elements of jazz, rock, and funk. Their debut album 'Future Pasts' gained international recognition, including a performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2024 and a sold-out show at Jazz Cafe London. Led by singer Nongoma Ndlovu, the band creates music that radiates positive energy and deeply connects with audiences through dynamic rhythms and spirited performances. On stage, Ndlovu's vocal presence and spiritual energy lead the ensemble, which features layered percussion, guitars, keyboards, bass, and brass, delivering immersive and euphoric live experiences.
