In the program "Vierhändig," concert grand pianos and percussion meet on equal footing. What initially appears to be a classical confrontation unfolds as an electrifying dialogue between rhythm and harmony, power and timbre, ecstasy and intimacy. Originating from their roots in club culture, the artists transfer the energy of electronic music consistently into the analog realm. Pulsating beats, driving patterns, and hypnotic repetitions are created live – directly at the instrument. At the same time, spaces open for lyrical lines, finely shaded soundscapes, and moments of almost chamber-music delicacy. The compositions blend different musical worlds and can be experienced directly – without explanation, without barriers. Sometimes crescendos push forward, sometimes deliberate breaks occur that take your breath away. Rhythmic intensification meets broad melodic arcs, archaic power contrasts with poetic finesse. They only look over the shoulders of the old masters, as The OhOhOhs also draw from their own repertoire of compositions. Classics from Beethoven to Bach are interpreted in a special way. They come together in a symbiosis. The "Vierhändig" program lives from the process: from constant formation and re-invention, from searching, increasing, and surprising transformation. The concert hall becomes a club – and the club becomes a concert hall. Repetitive beats unfold an almost shamanic pull, while the grand piano creates intimate, narrative moments. An evening full of energy, contrast, and sonic intensity – four-handed, uncompromising, immediate. Border-crossers between E- and U-music. Originally coming from techno and with a diploma in instrumental and vocal pedagogy with a major in piano from the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt, pianist Florian Wäldele and percussionist Florian Dreßler, with his solid training under renowned percussion teachers in the USA and Cuba, have taken new paths. At festivals like the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen or the Musikfestspiele MV or in jazz clubs across the country or in the sold-out Katharinenkirche in Frankfurt with the orchestra project: The OHOHOHS Symphonic and the premiere of "Sinfonie Nr.1 - Corona Sinfonie" – the world's first symphony with club beats and synthesizers, the two exceptional musicians set new accents in classical music. More than 8,000 followers and nearly 50,000 Spotify streams – just for the last album – speak for themselves.
