The "Seelinie" is considered a given today – but its creation was the result of decades of political struggles, rival railway projects, and international interests. The historian from Weinfelden, Dr. Michael Mente, tells its exciting origin story. Afterwards, the historian from Konstanz, Werner Trapp, talks with him about the new publications on the history of the Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn and about what connects the two lines that gave Kreuzlingen three train stations.
