Description
With the lengthening nights, the autumn sky offers particularly good observation conditions. Striking is the distinctive autumn square of the Pegasus constellation, which serves as an orientation for many other celestial objects. Another highlight is the Andromeda Galaxy, our nearest large neighboring galaxy. It can already be seen as a faint light spot with binoculars, and under dark skies even with the naked eye. It is worth observing it once through the telescope of our observatory or going on a discovery journey yourself with binoculars. Our seasonal programs support you in this and convey interesting facts about the autumn night sky and its fascinating objects. All planetarium shows are impressive, multimedia experiences on a 360° fulldome screen and are conducted by the competent members of the Astronomical Association Kreuzlingen AVK. Suitable from 10 years old. Duration approx. 45 minutes.
