Description
Against the backdrop of her acclaimed new novel Audition (2025), American writer Katie Kitamura addresses the themes that run through her entire work: identity and staging, intimacy and alienation, memory and imagination. How do we create the stories we tell about ourselves and others? And what happens when these narratives begin to fall apart? Katie Kitamura discusses with writer Uzodinma Iweala the unique power of literature to embrace ambiguity rather than resolve it. An evening about the lives we lead – and those we imagine.
