Description

Kasper and the Magic Cloak is a new puppet theater production in 2 acts with a performance duration of approximately 45 minutes. On a world journey, Kasper and his dog Bello stop in the distant Orient. There, they set out to find the mysterious cloak of magic, which is in the possession of the generous Caliph. With great compassion and a heart in the right place, he rules over his realm. Thanks to the magical cloak, neither fear, hunger, nor suffering can arise.
But as soon as Kasper arrives at his destination, it becomes clear that the cloak has been damaged by an accident and the tailor rushing to help is not who he appears to be. With skill and false promises, the cloak falls into the wrong hands and disappears from the palace of glittering towers.
Before greater misfortune happens, Kasper sets out to find the rogue who has already tried to exploit the cloak for his own purposes by all means.
Fortunately, Kasper and Bello can help and prevent great evil. And thanks to the wondrous fairy and the support of the children, the Caliph will surely be able to rule his land peacefully again in the end. Puppeteer David Minuth takes the audience on a fantastical journey through fairy-tale worlds, which, through enchanting puppets and artistic sets, not only make children dream. Dr. Johannes, Karin, and David Minuth are well known for their fairy-tale puppet shows far beyond the borders of Freiburg. They write their own scripts and design and craft the enchanting puppets.
