Description

"Kasper and Bello Save the Forest" is a cheerful and wonderful puppet theater production in 2 acts with a performance duration of approximately 45 minutes, created in cooperation with the Südschwarzwald Nature Park e. V. Kasper and Bello go on a hike through the Black Forest and are completely captivated by the magnificent trees, beautiful animals, old sawmills, and crystal-clear water. Everything seems peaceful until suddenly a strange figure appears.
It is a grumpy gnome with tousled hair, who is very upset that so many people enjoy nature. With his anger in his belly and a cunning spell, the forest suddenly becomes sparse and dry. A great joy for the gnome, but a great suffering for all the plants, animals, and people. Including a poor lumberjack and his daughter, who live right in the forest...
But luckily, Kasper and Bello are on site! The gnome will learn that he is not allowed to control the forest and can drive away humans and animals. With the support of the children, it is surely possible to save the unique nature with its forests and all its inhabitants... Puppeteer David Minuth takes the audience on a fantastical journey through fairy-tale worlds, which, through magical puppets and artistic sets, not only make children dream. Dr. Johannes, Karin, and David Minuth are well known for their fairy-tale puppet shows far beyond the borders of Freiburg. They write their own scripts and design and craft the enchanting puppets.
