With infectious energy, the Frank Dupree Trio combines classical and jazz music and meets the trumpeter Simon Höfele, celebrated for his virtuosity and charismatic warmth. George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue immediately unfolds its iconic brilliance with its legendary opening glissando. In shimmering interludes, styles meet, clash, and reinvent themselves.

Frank Dupree, soloist at the Lucerne Festival in 2026 with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, returns to Lucerne with his trio – under the starry sky. Music and projection combine to create an exclusive experience in the armchair.

The program spans from technical brilliance to quiet intensity – for example, in Miles Davis’ Blue in Green.
