Description

A mother of five sons rebels. Although she is a widow of an officer who heroically died in battle years ago, she does not want her descendants to meet the same fate. Unfortunately, the oldest – a doctor, also did not return home. He fell in the field of science while developing a vaccine for yellow fever in exotic lands. The boys are growing into men who long for adventure, and she is unaware that the second one has just crashed while piloting a plane. You can see this significant work by Karel Čapek in a theatrical performance by the Činohra NdB ensemble at the Reduta Theatre in Brno.
