Julia von Lucadou – Zeiten erhöhter Gefahr

Description

Julia von Lucadou tells of the cracks in a present where control becomes an illusion. What fears are revealed in the abysses of repression? Jot is in his mid-50s and has oriented everything in his life towards planning and control. He works in a company that sells bunkers to the super-rich and is thus also prepared for every emergency privately – or so he thinks. When he stumbles upon a corpse while running, his carefully constructed life structure suddenly begins to wobble. Why can't he get the image of the dead body out of his mind – and is it really suicide, as the police say? The film scholar and author Julia von Lucadou tells in her new novel "Zeiten erhöhter Gefahr" (Hanser Berlin 2026) subtly about the uncertainties and derailments of our present.
