Judith Bach
Born in 1983 in Berlin, she spends her childhood between Kuh and Kirche near Cologne. In 1996, the whole family moves to South Africa, and she completes her Abitur in Cape Town. Since she was 8 years old, she knew she wanted to become an actress. Her first role was the sheep in the nativity play; her second was Bosco in "Menschenfeind" (Molière) at "TheaterTotal", directed by Barbara Wollrath-Kramer. With a diploma in acting from Scuola Dimitri (2006), she founded the duo Luna-Tic with Stéfanie Lang. Since then, they have toured successfully as Claire and Olli through the world of small arts, now with four different programs. Judith Bach has gained acting experience with Wanderbühne Dr Eisenbarth, Compagnia Dimitri, and the "Luschtiger Dienstag-Crew." Under the direction of Giuseppe Spina, she appeared as Wilhelmine Giesecke in "im weissen Rössl" and as Dolly in "Hello Dolly" (productions of Operette Sirnach). In 2018, she performed solo as Claire with her first solo program "Aus lauter Lebenslust" (directed by Cornelia Montani). Four years and many small arts stages later, she premiered "ENDLICH - ein Stück für immer" (directed by Cornelia Montani / Paul Steinmann) and won the Tuttlinger Krähe in April 2024. Overall, this year has been a year of luck: besides the theater piece LOVELETTERS (together with Giuseppe Spina, a production by Theaterwerkstatt Frauenfeld), the summer at See-Burgtheater Kreuzlingen with PROMETHEUS, she finally resumed singing lessons, has her own folding bike, ducks, and tomato plants. She lives with her husband in Tösstal, likes to get up early, usually prefers to walk, and is happy when someone can cook well. Idea and performance: Judith Bach (as CLAIRE)
