Hardly any tenor has experienced such a meteoric rise in the past five years in the tenor
Olymp as Jonathan Tetelman. The star tenor, born in Chile in 1988, grew up in the USA and completed his singing studies in New York. Since then, he has stormed the opera houses of the world.
At the New York Met, he captivates his audience just as much as at the Vienna State Opera, as well as in London's
Covent Garden or the Dresden Semper Opera. His debuts at the Salzburg Festival were
celebrated as enthusiastically as in Baden-Baden or his first guest appearance with the Berlin Philharmonic. His vocal volume and his silvery-shimmering timbre are praised in the media and now place him in
the front row of star tenors. For his concert at Elbphilharmonie, Jonathan Tetelman presents a select program of his greatest
tenor arias including works by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, as well as popular songs from the repertoire of
the legendary tenor Mario Lanza. He is accompanied by the Hamburg Camerata under conductor
