Johannespassion Concert The Vocal Ensemble of Lausanne EVL, together with the Capriccio Baroque Orchestra Basel, a professional ensemble specialized in early music that plays on historical instruments, presents a unique interpretation of Bach's Johannespassion, a truly dramatic masterpiece. This production will highlight the special features of EVL: a large ensemble that excels both in collective playing and solo performances, consisting of professional singers who are regularly engaged as soloists by other ensembles in Switzerland and abroad. The role of the Evangelist is performed by Jörg Dürmüller, an internationally recognized artist, who brings special brilliance to this performance, where historical authenticity and artistic sensitivity meet.
